The plot was empty and the planning constraints were real: height, overlooking, and where the cars could go. The family wanted four bedrooms and a ground floor that faced the garden.
We took the design through planning, then built it. The outside is pale brick and timber. Inside, the stair is central so the living rooms stay at the back, where the light is.

Services, drainage, and the driveway were drawn with the house, not added at the end.
